Yesterday was the birthday of the prophet Mohammed

There were more people out walking and shopping as families and some of the stores had baskets of candy or for people to take.

Fairly normal . . .

Then I remembered this from earlier in the day

They were driving around the beltway really slowly just reminding people of the holiday. It was interesting. Not at all subtle.
